Program Description

Noncredit intensive English program with 6 levels of instruction from beginning to high intermediate focusing on academic preparation in all skill areas including grammar, composition, reading, listening and speaking. Use of language and computer laboratories. Six 7-week sessions beginning in January, March, April, May, June, August and October. We are a small, intimate program that assures plenty of individual attention for each student. Many extra-curricular activities including a welcome reception, culture hour, billiard party, games party, movies, shopping, field trip, and certificate ceremony.

Located in a quiet residential area on the south shore of beautiful Lake Ponchartrain, the University of New Orleans (UNO) is just fifteen minutes from the historic French Quarter, the central business district, and New Orleans International Airport.

application information:

Students must send an application, a $100 nonrefundable deposit, and a financial statement showing at least $2995 U.S. available for a 7-week session. All I-20's and acceptance packets are sent to students via overnight mail. Transfer student will be advised upon arrival.
