Program Description

The English as a Second Language (ESL) studies at Delgado Community College is a comprehensive program for non-native speakers of the English language. The program has six levels (from beginning to advanced) in four skill areas: conversation, composition, grammar and reading. A placement test will determine at which level students should be placed.
