English Language Institute at the College of Notre Dame

Program Description

The English Language Institute is an intensive English program (IEP) for women and men from around the world. Most of our students come to study English full-time. After studying in the ELI, students move on to undergraduate studies, graduate studies, and careers. Although ELI students come from all over the world speaking different languages, together they form a community that makes the ELI experience unique. In each session, there are students from 20-25 different countries. This diversity helps students to learn English and use it in and out of the classroom. Our experienced and caring faculty and staff take an interest in helping each student to achieve his or her professional and personal goals. At the English Language Institute, the students show how the world can live and learn together. Wherever you go after ELI, you will have lifetime friends to take with you.
