Program Description

The English Institute for International Students (EIIS) offers intensive courses in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the English language. Five eight-week courses are offered each year. The primary objective of the institute is to provide international students with a sufficient command of English to function on a level comparable to their American classmates and to provide intensive language training to those who wish to improve their English. All applicants must be secondary school graduates. Admission to the EIIS in no way guarantees admission to The University of Tulsa.

In order to be considered for admission to EIIS, students must submit the following information: 1. A properly completed application for international students. 2. A $25 application fee. 3. Proof of completion of a secondary school program. 4. A properly completed and certified Confirmation of Financial Resources form.
