Program Description

Manor's ESL program has provided personalized instruction in a academic environment for the past 12 years. English for Academic Purposes is the focus of the program. Courses are offered for all levels in reading, writing, listening and speaking. Manor also has an Intensive Beginner Program and an Accelerated Intensive Program. The strength of the program is individual academic support in writing, the content areas, listening and speaking with "Conversation Buddies," computer tutorials, and class trips that highlight United States culture. Students at the intermediate and advanced levels can take courses for credit at the college in their desired programs of study while they advance their English language skills.
