Program Description

SIT’s Master of Arts in Teaching program emphasizes reflection, observation, self-evaluation, experiential learning, and skills development within a strong learning community. Students master technical teaching methodologies through language classroom practice, on-campus coursework, and a one-on-one supervised teaching internship. The program is offered in a one-year or two-summer format designed for working professionals. Concentrations are available in English to Speakers of Other Languages, Spanish, and French, with options for public school certification.
